Merino Wool Gloves
Merino Wool gloves are lightweight, outdoor gloves, good for hiking and snow sports. Odour-resistant, they are naturally wicking, and breathable.
Hand-Wash Method
1. Fill a basin with warm water. Add a mild detergent suitable for delicate garments. Dip the gloves in the water. Allow them to soak for about five minutes. Get all the detergent out by rinsing with warm water.
2. Never twist or wring the gloves. Squeeze them lightly to get as much water out as possible. Roll it in a towel and let the towel absorbs water. Spread the gloves flat on a towel or on a drying rack for air drying.
Machine-Wash Method
1. If the washing instructions allow the use of washing machine, wash on the gentle/ delicate cycle. Use warm water and a gentle detergent. Put the gloves in a bag. Use the washing machine’s short spin cycle. Rinse with warm water.
2. Do not tumble dry. Squeeze gently to push out water. Wrap in a towel and let the towel absorb water. Spread flat on another towel to air dry, but away from direct sun.
Acrylic Wool Gloves
Quality acrylic gloves are durable. They keep the hands warm during cold environment. The man-made fibres dissipate moisture efficiently and are available in many colours.
Hand-Wash Method
1. Hand wash the acrylic gloves if it is delicate. Use warm water and a mild detergent. Allow them to soak for five minutes. After thorough rinsing with warm water, roll the gloves in a towel and allow the towel to absorb as much water as possible.
2. Never wring the gloves, nor twist them. Reshape the gloves and spread them on a dry towel to air dry.
Machine-Wash Method
1. Put the gloves in a bag for extra protection. Fill the washing machine with warm water and use a gentle detergent. Place the gloves in and use the delicate/ wool cycle. Use the machine’s short spin cycle. Rinse thoroughly with warm water.
2. Do not tumble dry. Wrap the gloves in a towel and allow as much water to be soaked as possible. Spread flat on a towel and let the gloves air dry in shade.
Blended Wool Gloves
Blended wool gloves usually have 80 percent wool and 20 percent synthetic fibre. The gloves display the resilience of the synthetic fibre and the great feel of wool.
Hand-Wash Method
1. Use lukewarm water and a mild detergent. Let the gloves soak for about five minutes. Swirl the gloves gently. Rinse long enough to get rid of the detergent. Do not wring or twist the gloves.
2. Roll the gloves in a towel and let the towel soak water. Air-dry the gloves by placing them on a towel spread on a flat surface.
Machine-Wash Method
1. Wash blended wool gloves in a washing machine, using the gentle cycle. Use cold or warm water and a mild detergent. If the glove is a bit delicate, put it in a bag for washing.
2. Gently squeeze the water out. Do not twist or wring the gloves. Roll the gloves in a towel and absorb water. Spread the gloves on a flat towel to air dry in a shade.
Angora Wool Gloves
Angora fibre is light but warm. Its hollow shaft fills with warm air and holds it. This accounts for its warmth. Available in a variety of colours, the Angora rabbit wool is soft and has a silky touch.

1. Use cold water and a mild soap. Allow the gloves to soak in the suds for over five minutes. Rinse them thoroughly. Remember not to wring, squeeze, or twist the gloves.
2. Roll them in a towel to absorb much of the water. Spread it flat on a white towel to air dry away from direct heat or sunlight.
Cashmere Wool Gloves
The fibre from cashmere goats has a fine texture. It is strong but soft and light. Cashmere wool gloves provide excellent insulation. It is durable too.
Hand-Wash Method
1. Turn the gloves inside out. Lather up a clean rag with soapy water and gently scrub the fabric.
2. Rinse the rag and wipe until the soapy residue is gone. Do not to soak the gloves. Squeeze out moisture, and lay them flat to dry on a clean towel.
Machine-Wash Method

Machine-Wash Method
1. If a machine wash is allowed, use cold water and the wool wash setting. Use the cold water wash or wash cycle for delicates. Do not tumble dry the gloves.
2. Remove them from the machine, squeeze lightly to force out water and spread the gloves on a flat surface for air drying, away from direct heat or sunlight.
